# Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Aarvein operates aarvein.com and its related store services. Our store is powered by Shopify. This policy explains how personal information is collected, used, shared, and retained when you browse, purchase, create an account, or contact us.

This policy takes precedence over conflicting wording in our Terms of Service concerning personal information, subject to applicable law.

Information we collect

Depending on your interactions with us, we may process:

- Contact details, including your name, email, phone number, billing address, and shipping address.
- Order and transaction information, including viewed products, cart contents, purchases, returns, refunds, cancellations, and payment confirmations.
- Payment information handled by Shopify and payment providers. Aarvein does not store full payment-card details itself.
- Account identifiers, preferences, and authentication information handled through the account services you use.
- Customer-service messages, issue photos, reviews, and other information you choose to provide.
- Device and usage information, including IP address, browser, device identifiers, and website interactions.
- Cookie and similar-technology information, subject to applicable consent and preference requirements.

Information may come directly from you, automatically from your interactions, or from providers and partners involved in operating the store. Anonymous information that cannot reasonably identify you is not personal information.

Why we use information

We use information to process payments, fulfil and deliver orders, handle returns and refunds, provide support, manage accounts, remember preferences, improve the store, prevent fraud, secure our services, and meet legal obligations.

Where permitted, we also use information for product recommendations, marketing, advertising, and measuring campaign performance. Marketing communications and non-essential tracking require consent where applicable law requires it. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails without stopping necessary order or account messages.

Where UK or EEA law applies, our legal bases may include performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as service security and improvement where those interests do not override your rights, and consent where required.

Cookies and advertising choices

Cookies and similar technologies can support essential store functions, preferences, analytics, and advertising. Available cookie controls let you manage relevant preferences. Browser settings may also let you block or delete cookies, although some store functions may be affected.

Depending on your location and applicable law, sharing information for personalised advertising may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Visit Your Privacy Choices for available opt-out controls or contact us.

Where required, we recognise Global Privacy Control as an opt-out signal for the relevant browser or device. If the signal can be associated with an account, it may also be applied to that account. Other browser “Do Not Track” signals are not generally recognised.

Who receives information

We share information as needed with Shopify and providers supporting payments, production, fulfilment, shipping, customer service, hosting, analytics, reviews, and communications.

Information may also be shared with advertising or business partners where permitted and subject to applicable choices; when you direct or authorise a disclosure; to comply with lawful requests; to investigate fraud or enforce lawful terms; or in connection with a business transfer, subject to appropriate legal protections.

Private support messages and issue photos are not made public for marketing without separate permission. Content you intentionally post publicly, such as a review, can be visible to other people.

Shopify

Shopify processes information to operate and improve its services. Depending on enabled features and applicable choices, Shopify may also process information across interactions with this store and other merchants for enhanced services, including advertising-related features.

For Shopify's own processing, consult the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify Privacy Portal. Shopify may be responsible for responding to requests concerning processing it controls.

International processing

We and our providers may process or store information outside your country, where laws may differ. Where required, transfers are protected through recognised mechanisms such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or equivalent lawful safeguards.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including fulfilling orders, maintaining accounts, keeping legally required records, resolving disputes, and preventing fraud. Retention periods vary by information type and applicable requirements.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. Do not send full payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information in ordinary email or support messages.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing.

You can make a request at contact@aarvein.com. We may need information to verify your identity or an authorised representative's authority. We will respond within applicable legal deadlines. Some requests may be limited by legal obligations or other lawful exceptions, which we will explain where required.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Children and younger users

Our services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children's information in circumstances prohibited by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information that should not have been collected, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

External links

Third-party websites and services have their own privacy practices. Review their notices when using them. This policy does not govern processing independently controlled by those services.

Complaints and updates

Contact us with privacy concerns. You may also complain to the privacy regulator or data-protection authority available under applicable law, including the relevant Canadian privacy authority or your local UK/EEA supervisory authority.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will revise the date and provide additional notice where required.
